Mysto Fox

I was tweaking this logo recently as my 4 year-old daughter caught a glimpse of my computer screen. She exclaimed, “Ahh! I know who that is.” I replied with a surprised, “You do? … Who is that?” She said, “That’s Mysto Fox.”

Hmm, haven’t I seen that somewhere?

The Spirit of EcstasyWhen we were doing Art Deco era visual research for Elizabeth Boyd’s brand identity we came across this rare, original, casting of Charles Sykes’ “Spirit of Ecstasy.” Also known as the “Flying Lady,” you probably know her best as the mascot for Rolls Royce automobiles. Bellbrook Industrial Park window signs

This project is a great testimony to the power of good brand planning and standardization—by Looney Ricks Kiss Architects (LRK). LRK also spruced up the exterior, and boy did it need it, and developed a clean, representative color system for wayfinding around the park.

Dinner Belle Memphis Logo

Just out … I revisited the hand-drawn type from what used to be Elizabeth Boyd’s “Dish” logo. I’m aiming for an eclectic, funky, deco feel from the custom type treatment. Check out the inspirational vintage deco ashtray.
