Got the Gustav blahs

Well, Gustav is hitting Memphis. “Hitting” being a negotiable word. I feel for the people that got evacuated from their homes and had to go through that whole pain. He’s manifested himself in gray skies and a steady rain all day.

Blakely, Thanks. I think he does look a little serious and grown-up in my drawing compared to real life. I have a hard time capturing that fat, little kid-ness that is so sickeningly cute. But I’m fairly pleased with this one. Posting this drawing definitely helped me deal with the Gustav blahs though.

No one would ever know from this picture that he tears through grocery stores, runs off down the street, paints on his big belly, knocks over clean folded laundry, dumps out the tiny lego pieces, unrolls the toilet paper, climbs in the flower beds, jumps off the furniture, and somehow during all that kisses on his momma.
